rainy day in Changsha

Adam said that he and Hope had been out and about....but it started to rain...so they headed back to the hotel.....with a pit stop at a local store for a snickers bar and some apple juice.....(the candy bar was for him....at least it better have been!)

officially a Farley

Our girl officially became Hope Farley today!  Praise God for His blessings! 

One less.  One less orphan.  One more little one has a mommy and a daddy!

Adam says Hope continues to do well!  She certainly is adorable and seems to be taken by her daddy!  Well, who wouldn't be?

Hope Delaney Farley

Our precious little girl rode a 6+ hour train ride this morning!  It was time for her to meet her Daddy!

Adam said it all went really quite well!  No crying...no tears...of course, it's still early on!

She did really well! 

And she's already learning so much.....like daddy's silly!  Enjoy!

Changsha

Adam had 2 free days before getting Hope....so the first day...he rested!  Whew!  Love that time change/jet lag!

On the second free day...he walked around...quite a bit from what I gather!

He was in CHINA!!

Adam left yesterday morning for China! 

After the last minute packing.....

And then hug all the kids "bye"....

Then head to the airport......

Then we waited.  And waited.  And waited.

And he flew.  And flew.  And flew.

And then he was THERE!

We got to "wechat" with Adam this morning from China!  My man is now sleeping...he was exhausted after traveling over 24 hours to reach his destination!

So he was going to take a shower and head to bed!  Good decision!

He will meet Hope on Monday afternoon..China time.  It will be around 3am Monday morning for us.  I can't believe it's almost time!

Praising God for taking care of my man.  (and my Hope!)

everybody sing....

"He's leaving....on a jet plane...I don't know when he'll be back again...."

Well, yes I do.  He'll be back May 22nd...10:46pm...but who's keeping track.

So, Adam leaves THIS Thursday for China!  Praise God!

He will fly directly into Changsha, Hunan Province.  He arrives LATE Friday night China time.  He will have a couple of days to get acclimated to the time difference and meet our precious baby Hope on Monday morning!  (Sunday night for us!)

We are so grateful that it's finally time to go get our girl!  God has certainly opened doors and made a way for us to get her home!  To God be all the glory!

It's time people.  It's time!

I'm praying that Adam has good enough internet to be able to send me pictures...so I'll keep updating the blog as I receive news/photos!

Please pray for safe travels, good health, smooth paperwork, and an easy transition for our Hope.  Thank you so much for all the prayers! 

My sweet girl will be home the Friday night of Memorial Day weekend!  Woo whoo!
