Efforts

Here is a list of some of the efforts taking place around here and around the country for Lucy!

Many have donated and please continue to donate on Indiegogo.com (click on the link)  http://www.indiegogo.com/earsforlucy?c=home&a=817553

You can also donate right here on the blog - just to the right using our Chip-in button!

August 10th - Open House featuring: Scentsy, Thirty One, Premier (rumored to have homemade candy to sell...yum-o)  All three ladies are donating their profits to Lucy's cause!

August 25th - "Be A H'ear'o - Ride For Lucy" motorcycle ride to benefit Lucy (lunch included and door prizes!)

A friend sent me her ever-so-slightly-used Nook Color and a Kindle Fire and we sold them and made $225 towards Lucy's surgery!  Awesome!

Yard sale - please donate any items!!

We are working on making T-shirts to sell!  (stay tuned - they are going to be adorable!)

A friend is having an "in-home" Scentsy party and donating all the proceeds to Lucy (different than the open house listed above)

Another friend is selling off some of her things and sending Lucy the money she raises!

My California friend (who we will be staying with while in CA for surgery) will be celebrating her 50th birthday while we are out there for surgery....she has asked all her friends in lieu of presents that they donate money to Lucy!

And most recent....like today...I was contacted by another amazing friend who is going to hold a "shopping party" in her home in the fall and will send all proceeds to Lucy!  (She does this every year and donates money to a charity!)

We are so blessed and amazed by the outpouring of love for our girl!  This is all life changing for our Lucy!

As I've mentioned before....one surgery at a time.  One surgery at a time.  One surgery at a time!

Love to all of you!!!  If you were here....I'd kiss you!!!

  1. Hi! My name is Rachel and I found your blog through the No Hands But Ours blog. We have two sons adopted from South Korea and we are waiting for a daughter who is in China. Our youngest son and our daughter in China both have Bilateral Microtia like your sweet Lucy :) Surgery is down the road for us a little bit but I am looking forward to following along on your journey! I'm sure I will learn a lot! My blog is http://huntforrachel.blogspot.com. Blessings!
