Last night after bathtime we noticed that Lucy's left ear has an issue. Within...oh, I'd say an hour or less...pictures were taken, pictures were emailed, and I was on the phone with the surgeon. Lucy will be having another surgery on her left ear. Sigh.
Needless to say, this is not in our plan. But I know God has a plan.
I will have more details later today and will let you know when I know.
We would greatly appreciate all the prayers you can muster for healing, surgery, safety, good health, finances.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
**surgery is scheduled for next Thursday....time is unsure at this time. So we head out Wednesday!

BAHA for baby
I saw this on a friend's blog.....she had found a "BAHA" for her doll.
Needless to say, Lucy had to have one.
So now Lucy and her doll Kim both have BAHA's. How cute!
This morning Lucy got out of bed and I put on her BAHA and she looked at me and said "baby BAHA?" And I told her that her baby indeed had her BAHA on. She smiled. Sigh. Precious!
*The baby's BAHA is actually a "headlamp" for hiking...from American Girl...here's the link! Enjoy!

The boy is 10
On their birthday, the kids get to chose what they want for every meal.
Breakfast: 2 poached eggs (vitamins are the nose, 1/2 a banana for the smile)
A very happy birthday boy!
Asher requested a fruit pizza as his birthday cake. So as I was cutting up the fruit....I decided he needed a "self portrait".....I personally like it!!
Keegan made Asher a mask of his favorite animal....a cat!
Happy birthday big 10 year old!!!
We love you Asher!
Can't wait to see what the next year holds for you!!!

A month of birthdays
February is the month of birthdays around here.
Romy starts off the fun on the 9th.
Cherri (my sister) on the 14th. Yes. A Valentine's baby. Whatever.
And then Asher on the 19th. Shew! I'm already tired!
Well, Romy turned 8 last Saturday. Unfortunately her Daddy was out of town and didn't arrive until late that evening.
Romy wanted to wait and celebrate her special day when Daddy was home. Good choice!
However, we did go out and enjoy a little Orange Leaf frozen yogurt!
We did manage to truly celebrate her day...the day after!
Keegan made Romy a fun mask for her birthday! (cracks me up!)
Romy has said (as long as she's been able to talk) that when she grows up she wants to be a "hair person".
She received quite a few hair goodies from Mom and Cherri. She was one VERY happy little girl!
So let this serve as a warning. If you have any length of hair....I'm talking anything past your ears...you will get a "once over" if you come by my house. Romy likes to use her new hair utensils...on anyone willing.
All in all, I'd say a good day...or two!

Thirty One
One thing I can tell you is that God has paved our journey to ears with amazing people.
So many precious friends have stepped forward to help us. To help Lucy.
We've even had total strangers come forward and say "What can I do?"
This brings us to one Ms. Dawn.
Ms. Dawn sells Thirty-One. And Dawn contacted me and said she wanted to help us do a Thirty-One fundraiser! Dawn is donating all her profits to Lucy's right ear surgery! You just gotta love the way God works!
Now, I gotta say....I love me some Thirty-One. It's sort of addictive!
So please do yourself (and us) a favor and go shopping! Just click on the link below, click on "My Parties" and you'll see my name! Then take a look at the awesome goodies they have!
For the month of February...the "deal" of the month....spend $31 dollars in product and get the "Keep It Caddy" for $5. Yes. $5. So get to shopping! Thank you all! And thank you Dawn! We are thankful that God brought you into our lives!

Ah, a snow day
Even my mom got in on the action!!! What fun!!! Just goes to show you....you are never too old to play in the snow!!! Go Momma!
Last year Lucy wasn't too sure about snow. Didn't really like it. Oh, but not this year!
The snow wouldn't pack very well for a snowman. So we built a snow....blob.
Cherri's dog Sam came over to play, too!
Sam apparently needed a belly rub from the Nannie!
Lucy was wanting to check out the contents of the toy bin.
Daddy was assisting Lucy in a little toy bin diving!
We all had lots of fun in the snow! Followed by warm corn chowder, grill cheese and, of course, snow cream!!!
